Entry Level Civil/Structural Design Engineer

KCS Corporation is seeking an entry level Civil/Structural Design Engineer to perform site evaluations to determine constructability, prepare site layout, perform civil and structural calculations as required for design, prepare construction drawings using AutoCAD, coordination with other disciplines such as surveying, electrical and mechanical as required for a complete design. Some travel will be required.
 

• Will prepare and maintain project status reports, attend project meetings, coordinate tasks with other disciplines, clients and vendors. Candidate will also be interacting with clients and building officials during the course of design.
   
• Will support construction with construction observation, responding to RFIs and field changes, construction documentation, submittal reviews, test result reviews, etc.
   
• Will support proposal and estimate preparation, customer relations, brochure and SOQ development, expo presentations and follow ups, etc.
   

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from US University or equivalent.
   
• 0-5 years of Civil/Structural engineering experience. Previous experience in Telecom or T&D work is preferred
