Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a School Paraprofessional at Agape Therapies & Educational Services in Rockford, IL. The School Paraprofessional will be responsible for assisting remote speech-language pathologists by supporting students with special needs during their remote speech therapy sessions. Implementing technology support and providing one-on-one support as needed.

 

Qualifications

  • MUST have Illinois paraprofessional license
  • Experience working with students with special needs and diverse learning abilities
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and educational strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students
  • Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
