I enjoyed learning about the immigration system from a legal perspective and do advocacy work alongside paralegal work.

What I wish was different

I throughly enjoyed the internship, if I could change anything it would be the immigration system itself.

Advice

I would advise people interested in working with people who are detained to be throughly trained in trauma informed care.
